That heart-pounding, nerve-wracking, can't-wipe-the-smile-off-your-face big day. That's what I'm there to capture. It's about you two. Your love, your story, your families, and all the little things that came together to make one incredible day. You made it happen, and I'm going to photograph it. And, of course, I'm gonna make you two look good.
Hey you two. Married, engaged, or just been dating a while - two people in love is my favorite combo to work with. These sessions are just the best. We wander, we explore, we laugh, we go to slightly sketchy areas that photograph incredibly well to get some amazing shots. And at the end of the day, you two get photos that you'll always cherish.
Ah, people. When I started down the road of becoming a photographer, people would ask, "what do you shoot?" I would pause, think, shrug, and reply, "people".
Being an avid book reader, I've always loved the idea that everyone is the protagonist of their own personal novel. Well, I sure do love taking portraits of protagonists. They have so much to say.
Whether it's maternity, newborn, family, or two lovelies with a pup, family sessions can be some of my favorites. Often times (especially if there are real young ones), I prefer to have these sessions either in-home or somewhere that's special to you.
I'll direct you here and there, but with these sessions, I seek to capture your life as it is: full of unpredictable moments, beautiful and random. I love these sessions for their simplicity and intimacy. It's not about a big event that's going on, it's about you. Your family, and all the variations of love that overflow from it.
At the end of the day, one thing that most people hold dear is family, no matter how you define it. Getting to photograph that is an absolute joy.
